Michael Marshall

Michael joined the Space Structures Laboratory in 2017. He received his M.S. in Space Engineering from Caltech in 2017 and his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2016. Michael's research focuses on modeling the dynamics of large flexible space structures for the Space Solar Power Initiative (SSPI). Additionally, he works on the attitude determination and control system (ADCS) for the Autonomous Assembly of a Reconfigurable Space Telescope (AAReST) spacecraft. In the past, Michael has worked on several CubeSat missions, a laser communications technology demonstration, and a suborbital spaceship.
